On my way down to Lamar yesterday, I stopped mid-afternoon at Last Chance. It
had a good assortment of common migrants, the best being two White-throated
Sparrows, a Green-tailed Towhee, and a Hermit Thrush.
Today I hit all the normal spots within 5 mile radius of downtown Lamar
(Prowers). M
HIGHLIGHTS
Ragsdale/Stulp Farm (3 miles south of Lamar on US287, private*)
Cape May Warbler (1 male) - present the afternoon of 4/26 and early on 4/27
(now thought to be gone)
*Jane Stulp, who found the warbler, does not normally post to COBIRDS for
reason of time but she was OK with me mentio
