Great views of the least bittern at Holcim Wetlands in Fremont County this
morning. I found the bird by scanning the reeds in the pond from the east
side. The bird was sitting out in the open preening. David ChartierColorado

This morning the Least Bittern at the Holcim Wetlands was much more active
than usual. It flew across the area of open water on the south shore of
the marsh 7 or 8 times in the space of an hour. I was able to get a few
blurry photos of it in flight.
