Jeanne and I went to see the male Common Loon reported yesterday by Bob and
Nancy Bierling. It is in full breeding plumage and readily visible from the
road. While we were there two Sandhill Cranes flew over and there was also a
pair of late Cinnamon Teals on the pond.

Again, go a half mile west of the intersection CO83 and the Franktown/Castle
Rock road. Go north on Walker Road about a quarter mile. You'll see the pond
right in front of you where the road turns west.

Good birding in Castlewood Canyon SP.

Good binding.
