Jeanne and I birded the Manitou Lake area today from 8:45am to 11:30.

Highlights:

2 Northern Waterthrushes - seen from the spillway bridge. They were in the 
rushing water below the dam
2 American Dippers - same area
4 White-faced Ibis - just south of the boardwalk
2 Common Mergansers
1 American White Pelican
1 DC Cormorant
1 Black-crowned Night-heron
1 Virginia Rail 
FOS Bank Swallows

Total 46 species and a great picnic lunch.
