Today at 10:50 am, about 12 waves of white-cheeked geese came into Barr Lake
from the south. We had previously seen only about 125 Canada Geese on the
reservoir. Each wave was 80 to 100 geese. One lonely Snow Goose was mixed in.
Since the lines were very wavy and disorganized and not v-shaped, we are
suspecting Cackling Geese. Welcome back!
