On March 31 and on 4/1, I had 1, Lincoln's Sparrow, and on 3/31, I had my first
Common Grackle . Both were in my yard which is across the road from the Denver
Water Department.

On 3/31, I saw one Turkey Vulture flying east from the intersection of
Belleview Ave. and Wadsworth Blvd.

Marston Reservoir has not been filled in. It is as low as it was in the fall.
They are still working on the dams[the north and south ones were cracked], and
on other parts of the water plant. Right now it looks like Marston may not get
the Reservoir filled until summer, at some time. I hope the lake can be filled
by summer but the state has to inspect the dam. One can go to Denver Water's
website, and click on construction. I hope the filling of the Reservoir is not
delayed by months, but who knows what will happen ?

One can still see birds on the water but the looks are pretty fair away. You
need to have a scope.

Good Birding !!
