I birded Phillips County today, only from 12:30 til 4:30. Nothing too unusual, but some migrants are coming through.
*Haxtun Sewage Ponds* Double-crested Cormorant 6 (not an easy bird there, in my experience) Cinnamon Teal 3 (again, a common bird elsewhere, but it was a county bird for me after many trips) Wilson's Phalarope (35) No other shorebirds of note, alas) N.B. At this location, a fix-up, clean-up, paint-up day was in progress, in preparation for Mother's Day. *Near Haxtun* Wild Turkey 1 (only the second time I have found them in Phillips) *Holyoke Lion's Fishing Pond* Chimney Swift 1 FOS * * *Holyoke - Frenchman's Creek near sewer ponds* Northern Waterthrush FOS Common Yellowthroat FOS *Holyoke Cemetery* Wilson's Warbler FOS Yellow-rumps, Orange-crowns Joe Roller, Denver -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
