This post is late because of internet connection problems...nasty dial-up! An Ovenbird serenaded me while I was gardening yesterday. He sang for most of the morning and I followed him into the aspens where I had glimpses of him flying about. I will be listening for him today. Last year in June was the first time I had seen or heard one on our property.
Add him to the singing Western Tanagers, Hermit Thrushes, Black-headed Grosbeaks, Hammond's Flycatchers, and House Wrens...quite a concert up here in the mountains! By the way...where are the Cordilleran Flycatchers?
