Howdy all, Brandon drug me owling with him for the first time in many years from mid-night to 3:30 AM.
We went up to Beulah area, and check out some old standby areas. We had; Common Poor-will - 15+ Great Horned Owl - 2 Flammulated Owl - 13 Saw-whet Owl - 2 Yellow-breasted Chat - 1 Chipping Sparrow - 1 A barking fox, that for a few calls I tried to make a Mex. Spotted Owl out of it. Also, helping with the Pueblo County Spring Count, in my yard I had a nice changing male Summer Tanager, and 38 other species.
