As of 9, she's still present, and was kind enough to step out onto the ice
for a few minutes and show off those pink legs.

I saw the pink-footed goose this morning at about 8:00 AM with Nick Komar
at Milavec res.
No sign of long-tailed duck or barnacle goose. Our ebird checklist can be

and thanks to the birders who kept eyes on him/her. What a treat! The goose
took off close to sunset with thousands of white cheeked (looked like mostly
Cackling) geese who flushed when a juvenile bald eagle flew ove
