Birders,
I spent the afternoon running around Morgan County checking out the playas
that Bill talked about.  My biggest surprise was 4 species of grebe.  The
Western was in a shallow fluddle on the north side of MCR II between MCR 23
and 26.  The basic plumage Horned. alternate plumage Eared (2) and some of
the Pied-billed were on the west side of Hwy 71 at MCR JJ. There were also
Pied-billed on MCR 23 at MCR HH.  The Sora was calling from the weeds on
the south side of the water on MCR 23.

Peregrine Falcon (juv.) Both MCR 23 & 26.  I think it was the same bird.

Western Sand
Semi Sand
Wilson's Phalarope
RN Phalarope
Bank Swallow
Sage Thrasher

Savannah Sp (fresh plumage)
Grasshopper SP
McCown's Longspur (1)
Blue Grosbeak (1)
Eastern Meadowlark (1) (had only 2 brown tail feathers.  Rest were white)
