Today while birding with the Denver Audubon field trip to Red Rocks Park led by Master Birders Bob Santangelo and Marilyn Rhodes, three in the group (Stuart Wilson, me and one other fellow - don't recall his name) saw a possible Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. Across the street from the Trading Post parking lot, there is an Observation Deck. It was from there that the bird was seen flying in the field from one of the larger trees to another. There is a trail leading down from the Observation Deck to that field, which we all went down to attempt relocating it so that all in the group could have views and possibly take photos, but to no avail. It was observed between 8:00-9:00 AM. -Rhonda Kelly Parker, CO (Douglas County) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
