Birders,

I took the short drive to Red Rocks about 10:00 A.M. to see what the feeders
might bring in with the lousy weather.  It wasn't as good as I hoped.  After
I spread some seed, I ran into Mark Chavez there and together we got:

Fox Sparrow (Slate colored)

1 and only 1 Zonotrichia sparrow.  It was a White-crowned.  As Henwood has
been fretting for a couple of weeks now, I think the others are gone and
have been for some days.

2 Black-headed Grosbeaks

Many (at least 15 in a 10 x 20 area at once) Lazuli Buntings.

A few Juncos.

 

At Welchester Tree Park, it was dead.  

1 Green-tailed Towhee
