I just had a common redpoll at the Primrose studios which is located at the
west end of Michaud lane and owned by the city of Fort Collins although not
open to the public unfortunately. However the bird was quite active flying
about between the cottonwoods in the rabbit brush and was not seen up

The Redpoll was just at the thistle feeders in front of the house.
The elk were earlier and that's how the bug roll in the cage got destroyed
and the sunflower feeder emptied. The bushtits are going to be pissed.
I'm going to tell them what did it and maybe the bushtits will pull out all

I have at least 2 Common Redpolls that I have seen sporadically in the yard
since Christmas Eve. The male was seen again yesterday and today, but the

The Common Redpoll made an appearance on the Sanders' thistle feeder among the
American Goldfinches just before 2PM this afternoon. My first Jeffco Redpoll.
Along with the single Redpoll, there were numerous American Goldfinches, a few
Oregon & Slate-colored Juncos and Pine Siskins, House Finche

trying to get better looks at redpolls in the large flock hanging out at the
east end of Lee Martinez Park and visiting the feeders at the Fort Collins
