Hi all It was a pleasure to give a free birding talk at Snowmass today - at the top of Sam's Knob. The weather was very pleasant, folks were interested, and there were many birds at the birdfeeder there. Rosy-Finches - 200 or so - with good representation from Gray-crowned (both forms),

Hi all We enjoyed a great Rosy Finch spectacle today Wednesday at Snowmass on my weekly free bird tour: I estimated ca.300 Rosy Finches feeding voraciously at our feet and on the feeder.. (at the top of the Village Express chairlift at Sam's Knob) The flock comprised of around 70%
