Cobirders, My brother Christof and I took a quick trip out to Last Chance, Neenoshe, Tempel Grove, Lamar Community College, Lake Hasty and Chico Basin Ranch from Sunday evening to Monday evening hoping to find migrants. We had a great trip and found a good variety (perhaps due to good karma from helping a motorist stranded 5 mi south of Last Chance having run out of gas).

Swainson's Thrush, dozens-- 10 feeding in one spot on Rd 35 by canal Hooded Warbler, 1 m Red-eyed Vireo, 1 Lamar Comm. College, 5/24 Rose-breasted Grosbeak, 1 f American Redstart, 1 Northern Cardinal, pair 1 m, 1 f (carrying nest. mat.) Red-bellied Woodpecker SeEtta Moss, 1 f Lake Hasty Campground, 5/24: very active, good variety Olive-sided Flycatcher, 1 Red-headed Woodpecker, 1 Yellow Warbler Yellow-rumped (Aud.)
