After Todd's post this afternoon, I was able to re-relocate the Sage Sparrow at Lagerman Reservoir with Nathan Pieplow and company and photograph it. It was by the dock from 620--644 PM (7 Apr 2010). Also present was a single vocalizing Eared Grebe and a very vocal American Avocet along with a pair of Common Mergansers and the usual suspects. I assume that the Sage Sparrow will leave tonight or tomorrow morning with the switch to more favorable winds, but it was a pleasure to have such a long-staying individual. Granted I've only seen two Sage Sparrows in the county, I've been able to photograph both! The link to the photos is:
