Among a list of budget cutting moves reported in today's Denver Post
is the planned closing of Bonny State Park. The savings are
described as "unknown." Administration officials are quoted
as saying that Bonny "would be 'repurposed' into perhaps hunting
or hiking lands."
Perhaps the birds will not notice the repurposing, but it may
be more difficult to find a bathroom or a place to park.

So make your plans to enjoy the avifauna of Bonny State
Park, before it morphs into "Bonny perhaps hiking lands."
