We have 3 swallow nests made of mud in the pitch of our roof line. Every
time I go outside, within seconds, I see about 2 dozen swallows flying
around so I know there must be more nests near-by. They are making a big
mess with their dropping. I will say our number of flies and moths are down
quite a bit which we appreciate.

My question: If I take the nests down (as far as I can tell there are no
baby birds), will the swallows successfully relocate?

I could wait until fall when they migrate yet I don't want to encourage
their return next year.

Thanks
