Observed a White Fronted/Canada hybrid at Kontz Lake behind Lakewood
City Hall yesterday. Behaved like a female mate to a Canada. On
north shore. Also tons of Shovelers, couple of Bufflehead, Lesser
Scaup, couple of Greenwing Teal on the north marsh pond. No Wood
Ducks. Also Avocet working north shore. Small hawk, possible Prairie
Falcon working from roof of office buildings to the East. GB Heron
circling overhead, but didn't come down.

Amazing family of garter snakes coming out of a small hole over on
south shore. Counted at least a dozen coming out and moving off into
brush. Lady said they're there every year.
