On the way to Pawnee Buttes for yesterday’s CBC, I stopped to refuel at the
intersection of I-76 and Highway 71 in Brush, and glassed through a large mixed
flock of geese in the cornfield behind the strip along 71. In addition to the
usual suspects were about a dozen blue-phase Snow Geese, and
A White-fronted Goose was among the Canadian Geese in Boulder Creek along
the north side of the main library parking lot in downtown Boulder this
morning (1/15/20) at 10:00 a.m. Unperturbed by people and dogs moving
through the park, but it did prefer staying in the middle of the creek.

I have a nice pair of white from dickies in a mixture of cackling /Richardson’s
geese this morning. I don’t remember ever having a pair here before, usually
just one. They both seem to be first year birds to me.

Yesterday, among large flocks of cackling and Richardson’s geese, there was a
juvenile white fronted goose here on the ponds where I live.
We have a flock of resident geese here, approximately 54, that are here all
year. There are probably at least 200 migrant geese that are here as well,

Bowles Grove Park area.Today they were across S. Federal Blvd. from the park,

Walking around Lake Arbor in Arvada this morning I noticed two greater
white-fronted geesed mixed in with the hundreds of white cheeked geese. In
the past two weeks, I've seen a single snow goose (looks immature) and this

Park, Fort Collins (Larimer) today, 5December, at about 2pm. They were

Stopped by Kuntze Lake in Lakewood this morning. Hundreds of Canada Geese
around a bit of open water. Kind of an ice-fog on the lake, but think I saw
a White-fronted/Canada hybrid. Looked more like a White-fronted than a
