There is, as to be expected, an influx of goose reports for our state. Via ebird, there are incoming reports of the gamut: cacklingXross's, cacklingXsnow, canadaXsnow, canadaXross's, snowXross's. How are these hybrids being specifically identified? Can anyone share some data or research of

There were two hybrid geese at Sharp Point Ponds in Fort Collins this morning, near Sharp Point Drive and Prospect. One appeared to be a Snow x Canada/Cackling [white head of Snow, with larger bill and smile, and body of Canada/Cackling]; the other appeared to be a Ross's x Cackling (eBirds
