Good Birding, Steve Stachowiak Highlands Ranch, CO -----Original Message----- From: cobirds@googlegroups.com [mailto:cobirds@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Jennifer Hyypio Sent: Thursday, June 04, 2015 4:26 PM To: COBirds Subject: [cobirds] Lewis Woodpecker On my way down to the CFO Convention in Salida, I took one of many side trips. From south 285 I turned right on County Rd 162 (Nathrope) towards Mt Prinston Hot Springs. Approx 20 yards from the intersection, on the top of one of two dead trees was a Lewis Woodpecker. I had planned on running up to Buena Vista to look for the Lewis reported a few days ago. This one sat still for some time and allowed for some good photos! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
