itions does work with several different formats protected by Adobe DRM,
including protected PDF, and Open eBooks (.epub or Adept) that are similarly
protected. I do not think that it works with BBeB (Marlin) eBooks, though.
Hence my question.

under VMware, and on a suitably authorised Sony Reader...
