resulting image (the inputTargetImage) a few pixels off on the
y-axis, and on retina displays, the image is drawn twice as big.
Obviously, there has been a lot of changes on CALayer starting Lion, but I'm
not quite sure what has changed so much, nor how I can fix this. Any idea?

I feel like I probably should not be trying to hide columns while some others
are resized. It works most of the time though, so this is very confusing.
Does anyone have any better
