I'm new into opengl development on mac. Currently, I'm looking for a way to draw a NSImageView over NSOpenglView. I googled it, and it seems like I need to put the opengl thing into layer. I don't understand this, Could someone explain this ? Thanks a lot! O

You may be referring to Core Animation, but I don't have experience with that. Another possibility is to use the NSOpenGLCPSurfaceOrder attribute with your NSOpenGLContext, to make the OpenGL surface draw below the window.
