Hi All, My query is streaming from the playlist file that we get from shoutcast.com.If we open the playlist file in text edit format is going to be the below
numberofentries=21 File1=http://scfire-mtc-aa04.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1074<http://scfire-mtc-aa04.stream.aol.com/stream/1074> Title1=(#1 - 119/900) .977 The Hitz Channel Length1=-1 File2=http://scfire-dtc-aa03.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1074<http://scfire-dtc-aa03.stream.aol.com/stream/1074> Title2=(#2 - 123/900) .977 The Hitz Channel Length2=-1 File3=http://scfire-ntc-aa10.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1074<http://scfire-ntc-aa10.stream.aol.com/stream/1074> Title3=(#3 - 123/900) .977 The Hitz Channel Length3=-1 Now in the winamp/vlc player if I try to open the url http://scfire-mtc-aa04.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1074<http://scfire-mtc-aa04.stream.aol.com/stream/1074>it works perfectly ie i am able to stream and listen to the music.Same if we try out with Quick Time player it gives invalid url when we try to open it thorugh Quick Time but if I try to open the pls file it streams correctly. Is there any syntactical mistake I am doing while giving the url or what would be the conventional method need to be followed ?
