Can I just clarify that there are no additional tricks with Avalon,
e.g.: To the best of anyone's knowledge, is Cocoon (and Cocoon 2.0.3 in
particular) compatible with the latest standard Avalon Framework and
Avalon Excalibur libraries
Avalon classes in the current CVS of 2.0.3 are still
JVM 1.4 compiled.
Am I wrong?

Could the junit.jar file in Cocoon 2.1 be updated to 3.7 which includes
the new AssertTrue methods?
This doesn't break any of the mass of existing tests :-) and helps me with
some of my own!

XSLT compiling doesn't appear to be working in the latest CVS. I thought
that it used to work, but I could have been kidding myself. Could someone
