cocoon2 pre-compilation

Hi., I tried to follow instruction on pre-compilation of cocoon2 stuff as mentioned in the faq..but the build process hangs after the a while.. I remember this problem was posted by couple of other users but with NO suggestions... Can someone help please... Thanks in advance
