The International Fellowship of Christians & Jews has an exciting opportunity
available for a skilled, resourceful, and motivated individual who would like
to make a difference in the lives of others in helping a non-for-profit
humanitarian organization fulfill its mission. We are presently in search of a
Archivist (Project Coordinator).

  
Reporting to the Manager of Communication Resources, the Archivist will be
responsible for acquiring, organizing, distributing and maintaining the
digital assets and archives of The Fellowship in a manner that advances the
objectives of the organization.

  
Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  * Organizing, researching and retrieving electronic and hard-copy archival 
material as needed for Fellowship projects, activities and publications.
  * Creating and maintaining searchable logs of electronic and hard-copy 
archival material; monitor and record asset usage.
  * Entering and retrieving data from electronic and hard copy assets, 
including scanning, uploading and adding metatags to text material, 
photographic images and videos in the Digital Asset Management System.
  * Assisting with training staff, vendors and other end users on data 
retrieval; keeping them informed of available resources; summarizing, 
retrieving and distributing resources as needed.
  * Acquiring new assets from photo services, news outlets, partners, and 
vendors; handle related licensing issues and user compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess:

  * Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor's preferred.
  * Preference of 2 years' archiving or asset management experience
  * Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, 
Outlook)
  * Familiar with data entry/data processing or content management systems and 
functions
  * Familiar with video and graphic file formats
  * Experience with basic office tasks such as typing, filing and scanning.
  * Good oral and written communication skills.
  * Highly organized with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple 
projects with competing deadlines.
  * Demonstrated ability for accuracy and attention to detail.
  * Must be self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently 
with minimal direction.
  * Strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of end users.
  * Requires the ability to work effectively and maintain concentration while 
performing repetitive tasks.
