thanks steve! I make that mistake every damn time :) maybe there should be
a balloon saying new plugin available in netbeans. I am hoping 3.8 is much
nicer than 3.71, that doesnt even update when u change things.

The GUI builder version is dictated by the plugin version. Not your libs
version. You need to update your plugin.
