The problem you are seeing was fixed yesterday, try
cvs update , if that doesnt work
rm -fr gnuworld, and get a fresh copy.

This error usually indicates a merge error, to fix it
simply delete the Makefile file from your mod.ccontrol directory , cvsup and
try compiling again.
