Okay, you hit a special situation as the logic was adjusted between 2.8.3
and 2.9.3 because of a security hardening. Templating support was removed in
2.9.3.

@jscheffl Additionally, I was able to print the contents of the .md file
from within the task using the same path, which suggests that the file is
accessible.
