Just realized that the

from 2.2 to 3.0 is empty.
Rebuilt the patch in [this
branch|https://github.com/snazy/cassandra/tree/9977-3.0-post] and submitted [CI
runs|http://cassci.datastax.com/search/?q=snazy-9977-]
[~blerer], can you review this one for 3.0 again?
