Because we don't currently check this, the problem presents itself as having a
Processor run continually, each time asking for a FlowFile and getting back
'null'. As a result, the number of tasks performed spikes very high without the
Processor able to really do anything, but the "Tasks" count shown on the
Processor becomes very high.
