http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15160 speedup for beanutils / array getter Summary: speedup for beanutils / array getter Product: Commons Version: 1.5 Final Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: Other Component: Bean Utilities AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] At many places within the jakarta code I discovered unnecessary usage of the java collections, which *slows down things significantly*. The appended patch is a patch for BeanUtils.getArrayProperty, but it should be considered to be a generic example how to speed up things. The FastXXX approach is a good start, but *real* arrays are *WAY* faster, since the mechanisms used here are implemented native. :o) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
