Summary: Setting the process name when using JSCV
           Product: Commons
           Version: 1.0 Final
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: Daemon
        AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I'm using the JSVC to run multiple java processes. I would like to be able to
tell them apart when viewing the process list. Currently they all display as
jsvc-exec. The patch contains a new command line argument called procname. If
procname is passed as an argument to jsvc it is as the process name instead of
the hardcoded 'jsvc.exec'.

This patch was submitted to the dev mailing list as
[PATCH][commons-daemonSetting the process name
