I've recently written a Wildcard class too, so will add a WildcardFilter.
Interested in submitting a RegexpFilter?
[You'll note that the IO ones implement both interfaces via a Jakarta
class, so you'd need to modify yours a bit. Also good to have unit tests.]

supporting file name search with a specified Regular
Expression, and had to create my own.
Think this can be added to Commons/IO ??
