I agree, the list should be configured to require non-subscribers e-mails
to be moderated. Volunteers, anyone?

I have just joined the xml-commons-dev list. I am concerned
about the amount of spam email that gets to the list.
However, i notice that cocoon-dev does not get any spam.
Perhaps this is because cocoon-dev is the type of list
which is moderated-on-first-posting.
