Wow, took hours but I was finally able to generate first the border

The GUI was a nice surprise, wow, very nice (all icons are not very
intuitive, though).
When trying to route, I wasn't able to find all cities - for example
the capital, Helsinki, wasn't availabl

I use "om gsm power 0" with omhacks in debian. It uses /sys files that
depend on the kernel version you have, I do not remember them by

- i made i /etc/opkg folder with only arch.conf and noko-feed
- removed alla qt libs
- opkg update and installed nwa
-restored standard opkg folder and when i upgrade i upgrade all except qt
libs...
this is the "only" (?) way of having nwa working on shr atm. For me it

you have to use qt libs from noko repos dalle libqt* 4.4.3-r3 (while in shr
repos you find 4.6.0-r14.1.4).
It's a problem in cflgs when compiling qts on shr... nicola (the developer
of nwa) is aware of this, and shr guys I think too...

I recently installed NWA on latest SHR-U and it fails to start up with

I checked that /usr/share/nwa/defaultconfiguration.xml exists and it
looks fine to me :-

The slowness is more likely because SHR runs on top of X while QtMoko draws
directly to framebuffer.

How much does it consume if you turn GSM off?
Should be ~3 mA.

And what about entering https:// urls? I think it is imposible now because

Symlink is a good idea - I use it since "ages" but wouldn't ~/Maps
folder fit better for this?
