I need to investigate more myself.
I rather meant asking how you managed to enter the APN, because
is
obeyed when an alarm kicks in.
Also, really make sure that the phone is silent when told to. For
example, make sure the low battery warning does not make any sound,
it's so freakin' embarrassing at the library...

the text, down to the right. I think it has been like this for a long
time, and for many versions of opera (9.x). I now use 9.50 Beta 2, and

I still get this error (see below). I did try to wipe my whole build
directory and started over, but got the same error again (three
times). Basically what I did was:
$ rm -rf ~/moko/*
$ cd ~/moko/
$ wget
to opensync, but I'm not sure about that.
Clearly, a device running openmoko must be the simplest device
thinkable to develop a synchronization tool for, as one can tune bits
on both sides. (I'm not saying it will be trivial though...)

Not sure if this stuff is patented, but I guess it could be
implemented on the OpenMoko (I guess develepment specific discussions
should be posted to the -devel list ;))

Opensync is still at the beta stage, but several people are using it
with great success already, including me (IrMC over bluetooth to KDE
