i try to create a custom menu file for xfce4 to avoid that ridiculous dynamic generation everytime one opens that menu (one has usually hit the button and then the submenus several times to make them appear). after some fighting i found a faq entry > http://wiki.xfce.org/howto/customize-menu but doing like suggested (even using that exo-desktop-item-edit tool) does in no way produce a menu -- only xfce's own desktop files are recognized, other, be it in /usr/share/applications/ or ~/.local/share/applications/ are plain ignored, and xfce4 does in no way offer a log or other means of understanding what happens.
so, simple question, has anyone succeeded in making a usable menu for the freerunner? _______________________________________________ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
