Hmm maybe you have to install debian/emdebian apt keyring to get rid of this.
I am on debian, that's maybe why it works

Hi,
I'm trying to build qtmoko from https://github.com/radekp/qtmoko ,

I suppose I have to run "sudo scripts/qtmoko-chroot-armel.sh", not
armhf, right?

Yes, but that .tar.gz file only contains - and therefore updates -
things on the SD card under /opt/qtmoko.

Thanks a lot! Now I get no configure errors. A "make" and "make image"
are finishing without an error, too. :-)

Hi,
you can try:

if that helps.

Thanks, that helped. But I had to copy libmpfr.so.1 to /usr/lib/ (not
lib32) that it works.

Hi all,
I want to build Qtmoko for the Freerunner GTA02 on my laptop using
Ubuntu Precise Pangolin 12.04 64-bit.
I followed the instructions on [1]. I have problems to get
libmpfr.so.1 installed. The program "getlibs" is not anymore available

Hello everyone,
just to avoid a new thread...
I am (to be honest a friend of mine is...) trying to make some
improvements in QtMoko.
I was able to compile it but, after a small modification in a single
file, I noticed that "make" took a very long time. Instead, in
build/path/to/mod/file/ a

Hello All!
Thank you Radek for the QtMoko!
I'm trying to complie QtMoko on Debian
per instructions at
https://github.com/radekp/qtmoko.
After:
../qtmoko/configure -device neo
an error happens:
Basic XLib functionality test failed!
You might need to modify the include and library search path

Important are the ts files. Maybe if you could send it as patch or somehow
preserve the directory structure it would be best.

For me building on default QT in karmic works. Maybe you can try building
qtmoko with QT 4.5 for the begining. You can find it qtmoko git history. Last
tree with this QT is this one:
Hi Radek,
I found why I got this error, Karmic Koala has only QT 4.5.3. So I used
a PPA to get QT 4.6 and try to compile again.
I got another error immediatly after the 'make' althought before 'make'
was returning an error maybe 10 minutes after starting

Hi Radek,
So the last commit seems to be the same but I also tried to use the last
branch
Here are commands :
m...@mavdesktop:~/OpenMoko/QTMoko-Build/qtmoko/qtopiacore$ rm -rf qt
m...@mavdesktop:~/OpenMoko/QTMoko-Build/qtmoko/qtopiacore$ git clone

here is the result from git log :

Try to overwrite build-dir/sdk/bin/qbuild.bin by version built using Qt 4.4
(during configure).
It helps for me. At least I don't see this error.

Hi all,
I am attempting to build qtmoko from source and have a problem. I'm not very
familiar with the qt environment and hoping someone can help.
I followed the instructions on radek's git README, downloaded toolchain,
cloned git and attempted to build. The first time I ran the configure
