Ah--nice. I haven't spoken to anyone at AT&T about this, but the coverage-maps at gsmworld.com seem to indicate that missing the 850-MHz band wouldn't be a problem on their networks, either (the `GSM 850' and `GSM 1900' shaded maps look identical...). So, can anyone officially confirm if the 850-MHz version is discontinued?
