Is fso-gpsd running? Try restarting it from Settings/Services. GPS
seems to be working fine for me with my last update on Monday..

Disabling drop shadow reduced cpu usage for me. But I had to manually
rename (could have deleted it) the module.dropshadow.cfg in both
/usr/share/enlightenment/config and //home/root/.

the top bar only shows:

The UI here is not so intuitive, but you might find that the menu bar
has arrows at the side that brings up more options?
in either case, the "advanced" thing is a sub menu, have you looked
under screen?
I use plain FSO, but I guess illume is the same?

Ah - what I forgot to mention is that this brought illume down to about
5-8% - which is ok-ish, but not great when it's idle and really just
sitting there. The rasterman has previously said it has been at about
0.2% when idle.

This is apparently an issue with recent SHR/FSO, my not quite perfect
fix was to go into the illume settings thingy (i.e. the wrench menu) and
set the framerate to 5 rather than 30, turn off drop shadows, and to
change the render mode from software to software_16.
