Hi all,
I recently reflashed my freerunner to the 2008.09 release. At first
ethernet over usb worked fine, and I think also audio, but after running
opkg upgrade they both broke.
For usb-ethernet: Now nothing happens when I insert the usb-cable.
Flashing from uBoot still works fine though

but it has the wallpaper of the FSO image and the nice qwerty button at the
top left. Which image is this, SHR ?

Yes but only after a reboot of the Freerunner.
The strange thing is at the devel list Carsten Haitzler wrote:

Got USB networking set up but I have to shutdown my firewall to get it
to work?
I'm using Ubuntu Hardy, and Firestarter as the firewall iptable mananger.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all you should do is allow ssh access
(port 22) to the Freerunner's IP. Let us know how it works out.
