Hello Gardeners, We received a hoop house last Christmas and decided to let the gardeners use the greenhouse as they wish. The result was that one gardener took a majority of the space, and started selling starts at Farmers Market with $2 going to him and $1 going back to the garden. The gardener claims he bought all his own soil and pots and has given many starts to the community. At a community garden meeting the other gardeners were upset that they weren't doing the same thing and voted that no-one should be able to use the hoophouse for personal profit, the gardener who was selling starts was not at the meeting and is now very upset about the decision. He is currently in the process of taking all of his plants out of the community garden.
My question is: "How do other community gardens distribute use of the greenhouse?" Thank you I need some help.... -- Mason Giem Community, School and Personal Gardens Organizer North Coast Opportunities Gardens Project Willits, California -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
