SHORT:  Grow With Your Neighbors, Dayton’s community gardening program, will
hold its annual “Growing Food, Building Community” conference on Saturday,
March 20 at Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark.  This is a full day of workshops and
presentations about gardening skills, youth gardening, organic gardening,
and entrepreneurial gardening. Registration is only $15, including local

The Grow With Your Neighbors (GWYN) “Growing Food, Building Community”
community gardening conference will be held from 8:45 a.m. – 4 p.m. on
Saturday, March 20 at Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark in Dayton, OH. This full
day of workshops and presentations on urban gardening will include four
themes: Organic Gardening, Gardening Skills, Youth Gardening, and
Entrepreneurial Gardening. Choose from any of the topics, including:
Organic Lawn Care, Youth Entrepreneurial Gardening Projects, Pruning
Techniques, Improving Soil Quality, Youth Gardening Curriculum, Community
Gardening, Children’s Garden Design, Seed Saving, and more.  Registration is
only $15, including local foods catered lunch and conference materials.  The
