Man, I've got to remember to only quote the message. I keep forgetting Anyway...Would applying heat move it back? Not a blow torch, but 500-1000 watts (like from a hair dryer). Just enough to get it "somewhat" straightened, but not perfect. Tape sounds the most promising, though. Jack

Good to know. I'll try it and check to see if any ROM pins are bent. That's been a real big problem in any board using plastic retainers for the ROM/RAM. Bit of trivia...The warranty for the MoBo expired in 99. I kinda wander what the warranty covered and whether it was a pro-rated rep

When I power up the system, I'm getting the horizontal bars and 4 chimes. I've re-seated the ROM and RAM, taken the RAM and ROM out and used a pencil eraser to clean the points, only put half the RAM in, and have tried to power up without the hard drive. Still no joy. Anything else I can do
