It works! Wow! I let the HD run for about 30 seconds and flipped on the Plus and it's great! What memories! Sadly, however, the OS definitely needs to be reloaded because a lot of small bits and pieces are missing or corrupted, but it runs nonetheless. Only have After Dark as an application

To answer your questions... 1) Yes, turn on the external HD first and let it run for about 30 seconds before turning on the Mac. 2) On the Plus, just about any SCSI ID should work. I used ID 2 for years with no trouble. If you want to change the ID, you should first shut down the machine (and t

Both of those vintage printers are quite heavy, eBay is a bad idea. I have a LaserWritter II and it is very very heavy (maybe 60 lbs). Your best bet is to go to a thrift store or to some small computer stores that deals with selling used equipment, i've gotten deals on old apple equipment
